Ease of field modifications 

The unique mounting pattern of the XY hinge allows it to be cut down to 69" while still having double row fasteners regardless of the original length of the hinge. Non-handed for custom cut lengths.

Example: A 119" hinge can have 25" removed from each end to make it a 69" long hinge.
